Howth is on the peninsula that sticks out into Dublin Bay. This allows for some of the most spectacular scenery out to sea and along the East coast of Ireland. It is a perfect day trip for demi-pairs and visitors to Ireland. From the village you can walk up to the summit of the hill approx 2hrs walking. As you climb higher on your walk the cliffs and scenery become even more fantastic.
For the really adventurous we would suggest renting a bicycle to cycle out, but be warned the hill up to the summit is steeper than you might think. Make sure to samploe to famous fish and chips that you will find on the main street in the village.
